Russian Dolls

We were watching Dora one day and they had an episode with giant russian stacking dolls.  Dora and Boots had to put the dolls in order.   It was a neat opportuity to show the boys our Russian stacking dolls.
Evan loved looking at them.

Alex loved opening and closing them.

He was also facinated by lining them up in order.

September! First Day of School!

Alex had a great first day!  Evan was a little sad.  He showed great attachment at drop off and cried a lot!  I was happy :)  Eventually he stopped crying and explored his classrooom a bit.  He was stuck like glue to the teacher assistant.  He was stuck to her for several weeks! Pick up time was priceless!  He was SOOOO Excited to see me and came running into my arms!!!!  It took about 3 weeks for Evan to not cry at drop off.  He still clings to me and we have to pry him out of my arms, but he isn't crying! When I peak in on him throughout the morning he looks like he is having fun!

We had professonal pictures done in August with their cousins as a surprise for my mom's birthday.  We did the pictures outside which was great for all the kids.  And she was super good with Alex (that's hard to find sometimes!!!)

Alex - Green Eggs and Ham

So I am struggling with keeping up with my blog.  I usually feel like I should post a lot of pictures and explain a lot.  I am going to try to just post one picture...hopefully once a day.  Maybe I will be able to keep up this way!
Alex loves Green Eggs and Ham.  He can read the enitre book (not just memorized...he can actually read all the words.)  We made him green eggs and ham for breakfast...he was in heaven!  He called himself a Green Eggs and Ham boy!
