Happy Mother's Day!

I feel so blessed to be the mother to 2 beautiful boys.  I love them dearly and I am so grateful to have them in my life!

Update on Evan!

Evan is doing great! He is now 2 1/2 and we just celebrated his 1 year anniversary!  We adore having him in our lives so much...he adds so much joy and enthusiasm!  He loves doggies, stuffed animals, playing, dress-up, helping mommy and daddy and he adores his big brother!  We love watching him learn new things everyday!

Update on Alex!

Alex is doing great!  He is now 5 years old and had a great WAll-E birthday party at Funtastics.  He loves wall-e, tractors, garages, plants and reading!  He is such a smart boy and has grown so much this year in his play skills and social skills.  We are participating in the PLAY Project with Dr. Solomon (Ann Arbor) and have seen HUGE strides in Alex! He is pretend playing, interacting with others and overcoming many Autism obstacles!  We are so proud of our little man!

Advent According to Evan:

Evan wanted to complete our advent calendar this morning. Baby Jesus is over by the camel...next to a star on the grass. The shephard in sleeping in the manger and a wiseman is in the angel's place!

Evan's Big Boy Bed!

Well, Evan can offically climb out of his crib so we took the crib down and put in his new big boy bed.  He LOVES it!!!!

Dora and Star Wars bring me to tears!

Walked in on Alex playing with Darth Vader and Dora. Darth Vader was hitting Dora with his light saber. Alex was using a mean voice for Darth Vader saying, "I am going to get you!" And he used a girly voice for Dora saying, "I'm hurt!" THIS IS HUGE!!!!! Alex is finally pretending!!!! WITHOUT OUR HElP!!!! So, we found luke Skywalker and he started to protect Dora. We played star wars before bed tonight! HUGE HUGE STRIDES FOR AlEX!!!!!! Autism Play Project is paying off!!!
